How to show grids in Adobe XD

Want to show the layout grids in your Adobe XD project?

Layout grids and guides are super helpful, especially when laying out a larger project or app that uses similar page layouts over and over again. Grids will help keep you moving efficiently and keep all your elements aligned.

Here are the steps:

To Show Layout Grid

  1. Open your Adobe XD project
  2. From the top menu bar, choose View > Show Layout Grid
  3. Or, toggle this option on and off using keyboard shortcut Shift Command ‘

To Show Guides

  1. Open your Adobe XD project
  2. From the top menu bar, choose View > Guides > Show All Guides
  3. Or, toggle this option on and off using keyboard shortcut Command ;

To Show Square Grid

  1. Open your Adobe XD project
  2. From the top menu bar, choose View > Show Square Grid
  3. Or, toggle this option on and off using keyboard shortcut Command ‘

Note: All of these can be hidden again be repeating the process. For instance, to hide the Layout Grids, choose View > Hide Layout Grid from the top menu bar.
